Pay My Bill

At St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, we understand that managing a medical condition and its associated costs can be stressful. Our goal is to make the billing process as simple and straightforward as possible. If you have any billing questions, please contact us.

Please note that some physicians and ancillary providers at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center are not employees of the hospital. As a result, your hospital bill will not include charges for your personal physician, surgeon, anesthetist, pathologist, radiologist, emergency room physician, or other consultants. You will receive separate bills from these independent providers.

Clinics and Hospital-Based Outpatient Services

“Provider-Based” or “Hospital-Based Outpatient” refers to the billing process for services rendered in a hospital outpatient clinic or location.  This is the national model of practice for integrated health systems involved in patient care and St. Joseph Regional Medical Center follows these very specific billing practices as regulated by the Centers for Medicaid & Medicare Services.

This means that patient may receive two bills:  One from the hospital (the technical component) and one for the practitioner’s professional services.
